10 Most Dreaded Female Gangsters in American History

1. Bonnie Parker

The chances that you have not heard about Bonnie Parker are slim to none, as she was one-half part of the infamous duo Bonnie and Clyde.  The smart, attractive woman was part of the Barrow Gang together with her lover and they all terrorized America in the ’30s as they carried out multiple bank robberies and took part in multiple shoot-outs with law enforcement.

Bonnie, together with Clyde, became iconic and is now the most recognized female gangster. This is in part due to all their wrong-doings and killings, but also due to the photoshoot near their Missouri hideout that immortalized them in history. Still brought up today and definitely emblematic for her era, she proved that the spotlight should be on both men and women.
