Congaree National Park
The Congaree National Park of South Carolina has received its official designation not too long ago in 2003, though the campaign began as early as 1969. It’s the largest tract of primeval forest left in the U.S. and going for a hike or a camping trip here will surely make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time to an era before humanity even existed.
The man pictured above was clearly ready to canoe down the Cedar Creek Canoe Trail and we can’t help but find the canoe to car ratio uniquely hilarious!
