Canyon de Chelly National Monument
Within the Navajo Nation lies the Canyon de Chelly National Monument, managed by both the National Park Service and the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation Department. It is, therefore, one of the longest continuously inhabited landscapes of North America!
Within the 83,840 acres of land, you’ll find three canyons: de Chelly, del Muerto, and the Monument. So it’s no small wonder that this is one of the most visited National Parks in the U.S. Another major attraction is known as the Spider Rock which rises 750 feet.
Though access to the canyon floor is restricted, you’ll still be able to capture stunning photos from your trails.
